Pastel Sisters of Light

In a remote flower field, bathed in the soft light of the setting sun, lived two sisters: Lila, dressed in sky blue, and Rosa, in soft pink. They were inseparable, but carried a heavy secret – their mother was sick, and the doctors gave little hope. One summer evening they decided to move into the field, a place full of magical pastel flowers that could fulfill wishes according to old stories.

First they stood back to back, Lila playing with her hair while Rosa placed her hand on her hip, staring at the horizon. “What if we can never play together again?” Lila whispered. Rosa turned around and pulled her to the ground, where they sat down, arms around each other. “We have to be strong,” Rosa said, holding Lila's hand.

They posed on an old log, Lila leaning and Rosa standing, watching over her. Then they sat back to back, Rosa's hand on Lila's neck as comfort. Lila knelt down by a stone, Rosa next to her, and they looked up at the sky, hoping for a sign.

Together they stood up, looked into each other's eyes, and Rosa put her finger on her lips: "Sst, don't tell anyone." They prayed with folded hands, begging the flowers for healing. They shared moments of reflection, Lila with her hand on her stomach, Rosa smoothing her hair. Sitting on a moss bed, they thought about the future.

Throughout the series, their bond grew, from distance to closeness, from sadness to hope. Eventually, at the last light, they touched the water in a nearby lake, feeling their desire spread like wrinkles in the water. And miraculously, when they came home, their mother was getting better. The field had listened.
